INTRODUCTION

"Let there arise out of you a band of pupil (PEOPLE) inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, they are the ones to attain felicity." (AL-QURAN ALL-E'-IMRAN: 104)
Islam'is a religion for humanity. It should, therefore, be propagated in each and every nook and corner of the world. This is because, as the religion among religions, it is the most simple, comprehensive and easily understood religion. It is the religion that was taught by every prophet of Allah the Almighty (SAW) and is now perfected. The Holy Quran is the last book and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the final Messenger of Allah. The prophet hood had Gbmeto an end. After the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) the carrying out of the sacred message of Islam rests on all his devoted followers.
Muslims had attached a great importance to missionary activities from the advent of Islam wherever they went and in whatever capacity they went, they were first and foremost missionaries of Islam. In short, when they went to Persia, Africa, Europe and India in a ave of conquest, they were first missionaries and then soldiers. On the later years, when the Muslim World split into various independent---units (Due to conspiracies of anit­ Islamic elements) the rulers of these units were not as sincerely attached to Islam as they were to their own ego for power and worldly trash. But only due to the devoted missionaries the spiritual conquest of Islam continued unabated everywhere. -History bears witness to the innumerable savants and spiritual luminaries who continued to carry the sacred message of Islam throughout the world. We, therefore, see that many countries in the world such as Indonesia, Malaysia and many parts - of Africa, were under the banner of Islam not by conquest but by the constant efforts of the devo­tees of Islam. Among those saints and savants of Islam, Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani , Mujjadid Alf-Sani Hazrat Shaikh Ahmed Farooqi Sarhandi, Sheikh Ali-Hujweri, Sheikh Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai and many other Sufis, saints,mystical teachers and philosophers have made historical contribution to the cause of Islam. One of such great personalities is in our age with the sweet name Sheikh Muhammad Tahir Naqshbandi (Very well-known to his spiritual disciples with the name "SAJJAN SAIN".
